Guess what! I was searching for "Steph's Blog" on Yahoo and YahooSg and I found this.
My blog appeared as the first result for both queries. Yay!!
First Yahoo...then Google...lol.
Lol...this just came in. zandperl commented that my blog was the first result for "Steph's Blog" in Google as well :D
I went to check and it's true :D

I got you as #1 in Google. Since Google owns Blogger, and you've also got their ads, I should hope they know wher eyour blog is. How'd you get ranked so high when there's so many other hits?
Lol...I didn't know that mine came up tops in Google as well.
As to your question, I am not exactly sure how I got tops.
Maybe it's due to these reasons:
1. Blog for some time and the search engines will pick you up.
2. Place tags in your posts (I use Technorati Tags)
3. Increase incoming links to your blog.
Yup...these are the few reasons that I can think of.
Maybe it's because Google bought over Blogger and that makes blogspot blogs easier to reach the top results for Google searches.
Just my opinion. Not sure if it's true or not.
